Coin-pedia
Coin art plaques

Every coin tells a story.

Bold, colourful plaques, each drawn around one real coin — and the coin comes with it, sealed in its capsule and set in the ring.

How they’re made

Made in small batches in our own studio, from plant-based material, with old coins given a new place to shine.

01

A coin with a past

Every plaque starts with a real coin that has already had a life. We give it a second one — nothing newly minted, no new metal.

02

Drawn for it

The artwork is drawn around that one coin — its country, its value, its date — in bold, simple shapes made to last.

03

Plant-based colour

Made from a plant-based material rather than oil-based plastic, in bold colours set flush into the face. No paint, no varnish.

04

Nothing glued

The coin sits in a capsule that presses into the ring. No glue, nothing touches the coin, and it can always come back out.

About

Coin-pedia: the story on every coin.

Every coin is a page of history — an eagle, a goddess, a fox, a flame. Coin-pedia draws that page out big and bright, in the colours a coin never had.

We are a small studio making art plaques around real coins. Each one is designed for its coin, made in-house, and sold with the coin it was drawn for.
